About A Quiet Window

Creating art has always brought quiet to my soul. It is where I get to both explore and retreat from the world.

Statement

My artwork is inspired by color & nature, where I move between form & formlessness. Though there are always common themes and subjects in my work, I am always exploring different mediums and techniques to express my vision. Ladies, flowers and landscapes are my favorite subject matter. Through these subjects I get to dig into color, pattern, form, and composition. To me, they are tools to help my artwork evolve. I am fascinated by color, color theory, and the emotional, psychological effects that color has on mood and emotion. I explore this aspect of color often in my work.
